Sydney Democracy Network invited Chinese documentary filmmaker Nina Ningtong Wang to screen her latest film 'Return of Lost Souls' in Sydney as part of the Festival of Democracy 2016.   近日,中国导演王宁彤携带她的记录片《魂归何处》,英文名《Return of the lost souls》来到悉尼参加悉尼大学民主节活动。 王宁彤导演是中国电视台CCTV6 频道(电影频道)国际制片、导演和主持。 纪录片《Return of the lost souls》,《魂归何处》拍摄记录的是苗族人的生存状态,片子也试图反映苗族人在广泛、漫长的移民迁徙历程,展现他们在历史、战争、政治浪潮冲击下所面对文化与身份认同的困惑。王宁彤导演在SBS接受了本台记者周骊的采访。请听录音。 根据 苗族百科资料记录,苗族是一个发源于中国的国际性民族,历史悠久,是中国最古老的民族之一,其先祖可追溯到原始社会时代活跃于中原地区的蚩尤部落。 苗族在历史上曾进行过多次大迁徙,大致由黄河流域迁至长江流域以南的洞庭、彭蠡一带,后又迁至武陵山一带,再至川黔滇,之后便陆续移迁东南亚及海外。 100多万人从中国西南边陲迁入越南、老挝、泰国、缅甸,后来又移居到美国、法国、圭亚那、加拿大、澳大利亚和阿根廷等国。 根据王宁彤导演的介绍,澳大利亚的苗族移民有2000多人,主要居住在昆士兰州,塔斯马尼亚和维多利亚州也有一部分。王导演说,在澳大利亚的苗族人中,有不少人在澳洲社会拥有较高声誉。比如澳洲人类学家Gary Yia Lee博士就是苗族人。Lee 博士是哥伦坡计划第一批到澳大利亚的苗族人。 2013年4月29日起,SBS 苗语节目开播,为澳洲的苗族语言社区提供服务。SBS苗语节目每周星期四和星期天上午11:00-12:00播出。网站是www.sbs.com.au/yourlanguage/hmong   Originally...
