Felicity Ruby


Felicity Ruby is a first-year Doctoral candidate in the Department of Government and International Relations at the University of Sydney.  Supervised by Professor John Keane at the Sydney Democracy Network, her research is focused on transnational political movements resisting mass surveillance.  She has been a political adviser to Senator Scott Ludlam, Greenpeace International, the United Nations Development Fund for Women, and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF).  She was most recently the Director of Internet Policy for global software consulting firm, ThoughtWorks.
